Kelley Kronenberg Partner Amy B. Siegel Appointed to the Susan G. Komen, South Florida Affiliate Board of Directors

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Kelley Kronenberg Partner Amy B. Siegel, located in the firm’s West Palm Beach office, is a newly appointed member of the Susan G. Komen, South Florida Affiliate Board of Directors. She was sworn in on April 23rd and will serve a three-year term. In addition to her recent induction, she also received the Susan G. Komen South Florida Affiliate 2015 Extra Mile Award for Volunteerism.

Ms. Siegel is a long-time supporter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She recently served as the Co-Chair of the Race Day Sign-Up Committee for the 2015 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure held in West Palm Beach on January 31st. Currently, she is the Chair of the Incentives Committee for the 2016 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, which is scheduled to take place in West Palm Beach on January 30.

In addition to volunteering for committee positions with the foundation, Ms. Siegel is training to participate in the upcoming Susan G. Komen 3-Day race in Atlanta, GA where she will walk 60 miles over the course of three days.

Ms. Siegel focuses her practice on the defense of Workers’ Compensation claims on behalf of employers, insurance carriers, self-insured corporations, third party administrators, and claims servicing agencies. Her background includes extensive experience with all aspects of Litigation and Appellate Law.

Throughout her career, she has cultivated an array of skills and knowledge that contribute to the effective representation of clients in several industries, including the retail, healthcare and hospitality industries.  Ms. Siegel frequently represents health care facilities, including hospitals, clinics and nursing homes, as well as a broad range of service industry employers. She has successfully defended many claims against retailers, restaurants, bars, hotels, and similar establishments.

Ms. Siegel is certified by the state of Florida to conduct Continuing Education courses and she regularly presents educational seminars on a wide variety of legal matters. Additionally, she provides regular training seminars to clients, advising supervisors, managers and employers on proper claim reporting and handling techniques. She has served on the Workers’ Compensation Practice Committee for the Palm Beach County Bar Association, playing an integral role in planning the annual Bench Bar Conference, as well as speaking at the Conference on numerous occasions.
