Industry veteran will drive client origination and strategic partnerships, with a focus on the firm’s Real Estate Division
[FORT LAUDERDALE, FL] – [OCTOBER 30, 2026] – Kelley Kronenberg is proud to welcome Bernard “Bernie” LoVerde to serve as the firm’s Senior Advisor, Growth & Corporate Development. In his role, Bernie will handle client origination and corporate development, driving growth initiatives and strategic alliances across the firm, with an initial focus on the Real Estate Division. He has spent more than two decades in default services and creditors’ rights. His deep financial background includes mortgage banking and title insurance roles dating back to 2000, following an early career in investment banking and securities compliance.
“We are beyond thrilled to have Bernie leading our strategic goals for jurisdictional expansion and client growth throughout the national mortgage default industry. Bernie provides a wealth of experience and the professional background to take our practice to the national level, allowing us to provide our existing and prospective clients with the best legal services, compliance, and technologies available in the industry,” said Jason Vanslette, Chair of the Real Estate Division at Kelley Kronenberg.
Bernie brings more than twenty years of experience in default services and creditors’ rights. He previously served as Chief Strategy, Client & Business Development Officer of two creditors’ rights and default services law firms, sitting on the executive committee of each, and for more than a decade has advised law firms and financial services organizations on revenue growth through his own strategic advisory and fractional executive practice. Earlier, as Vice President and Director of the Default Services Division of a First American subsidiary, he built a statewide division that became the model for the company’s East Coast default operations, and he was one of the 22 chosen from 14,600 employees for its Advanced Leadership Skills Program. He began his career in investment banking and later managed a family office overseeing real estate and private lending.
“In business development, you’re really an intelligence officer looking for strategic opportunities. I’m extremely excited to work with a firm with Kelley Kronenberg’s reputation. I see it as my role to find those opportunities for the firm and reduce the friction in business relationships. Strong relationships last, and building them is what I’m here to do,” said Bernie.
