Kelley Kronenberg Partner Valerie Barnhart to Speak on Cyber Risk Management at the 2016 CLM Southeast Conference
Valerie Barnhart, Partner at Kelley Kronenberg, is scheduled to speak at the 2016 Claims and Litigation Management (CLM) Southeast Conference taking place February 4 – 5 at the Double Tree by Hilton, located in Tampa, Fla. Barnhart will proudly serve on a panel with esteemed colleagues Chris Burgio, Vice President at Marsh & McLennan Agency, and Hunter Maskill, Cyber and Professional Liability Regional Underwriting Manager at AIG, to deliver “Best Practices on Cyber Risk Assessment, Management and Remediation” on February 4th at 2 p.m.
Barnhart is a Partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, focusing her practice on business transactions, data privacy and security matters. Accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, she is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) and a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM). Her practice involves advising clients in all aspects of business and risk management, such as data privacy and security, including compliance with data protection and privacy laws, contractual matters, corporate governance, purchase or sale of assets, non-compete agreements, formation of business entities, subcontractor agreements, customer contracts, shareholder agreements, and operating agreements.
Valerie serves as an elected representative for the 17th Circuit on the Florida Bar Board of Governors Young Lawyers Division. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University where she devotes a substantial amount of time assisting students who are preparing for the Florida Bar Examination.
