Estate Planning

Planning Means Protection for Your Loved Ones and Peace of Mind for You.

Estate planning is one of the most important things you can do to protect your family. It safeguards the financial future of your loved ones and ensures you have the appropriate support if you become incapacitated. The positive effects of planning will be felt during your life and for generations to come.

We Offer a Personalized Approach to Estate Planning.

Our approach to estate planning is unique. We understand that no two individuals or families are alike. For this reason, we utilize a personal and individualized approach to thoroughly understand your needs and ensure your goals are met. Our attorneys work closely with clients to develop a comprehensive and strategic estate plan to ensure your wishes are carried out in the manner you want, at the lowest possible costs, with the maximum protection.

Create a Business Succession Plan.

Kelley Kronenberg can help you develop a customized contingency plan, tailored to your situation and goals, to secure and protect the future of your business once you retire or are unable to fulfill your responsibilities. From choosing a qualified successor to executing the succession plan, the firm is committed to creating a comprehensive process that minimizes disruption to your business as leadership or ownership shifts.

We Specialize in Snowbird Planning.

When you have business or property interests in more than one state, it often requires counsel in each of those jurisdictions, which can lead to confusion, lengthy proceedings, and exorbitant legal bills. At Kelley Kronenberg, we streamline the process and protect your bottom line by offering qualified estate planning counsel in New York, New Jersey, and Florida. Our attorneys work across state lines, teaming up to provide seamless representation. The result is expedited outcomes with lower costs and less stress.

Guardianship

Who Will Care for You When You Can’t Care for Yourself?

Guardianship is a process with both practical and legal challenges and a combination of serious personal, emotional, and financial implications. It involves a legal proceeding during which the court appoints a guardian to exercise the legal, medical, and financial rights of an incapacitated person. The type of guardianship needed depends on the facts and circumstances of each case. An incapacitated person is someone who has been judicially determined to lack the capacity to manage at least some of their property or fails to meet some essential health or safety requirements. Until a person is legally adjudicated as incapacitated, they have the full right to make whatever decisions they want.

This is a process that should not be faced alone. Failure to timely obtain experienced counsel can have long-lasting and profound impacts on relationships, assets, and outcomes. We understand the sensitive nature of these cases and are here to support and help guide you.

Probate Litigation

Navigating Probate and Providing Peace of Mind.

Our probate attorneys have extensive experience in a wide range of probate, litigation, and estate planning matters. Our attorneys have drafted hundreds of estate plans, counseled families of all levels of wealth and need, and provided holistic solutions as a result of this tested knowledge. Our experience allows us to both achieve the goal of funding an inheritance for the next generation and provide support to families in need.

As part of a cross-disciplinary full-service national firm, Kelley Kronenberg offers complete legal services tailored to each client’s specific needs. Our integrated team of attorneys collaborate with the firm’s other practice areas, including our Family Law, Business and Commercial Transactions, and Real Estate Teams, offering a seamless and unified approach to both complex and routine matters.
