The law firm Kelley, Kronenberg, Gilmartin, Fichtel, Wander, Bamdas, Eskalyo and Dunbrack, P.A., is pleased to announce that Michael J. Fichtel has been named Managing Partner. Fichtel has been instrumental in providing strategic direction to the firm as Managing Partner of the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office.
Fichtel joined Kelley Kronenberg in 1987 and has spearheaded the firm’s geographic growth, as well as efforts to diversify the firm’s legal offerings. He practices in the area of insurance defense with a focus on Workers’ Compensation claims and client services.
Fichtel is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Broward County Bar Association, the Federal Bar, and the Council on Litigation Management. He also maintains professional membership in and association with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), The Association of Workers’ Compensation Claims Professionals (WCCP), and the Florida Association of Self Insureds (FASI). He is AV‐rated by Martindale‐Hubbell.
Fichtel received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. He earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 1986 and was admitted to the Bar in 1987.
