ShareKelley Kronenberg Expands Legal Team with New Attorneys Across Key Practice Areas
Kelley Kronenberg is pleased to announce the addition of three experienced attorneys: Jorge A. Jaramillo, William “Jay” Connelly, and Alexandra Gubista. Their arrival strengthens the firm’s capabilities in first-party property insurance defense, intellectual property, and general liability litigation, supporting continued strategic growth across key practice areas.
Jorge A. Jaramillo joins the firm’s West Palm Beach office, focusing his practice on First-Party Property Insurance Defense. Before joining Kelley Kronenberg, Jorge was an Assistant Public Defender and Assistant State Attorney in Florida’s Fifth Judicial Circuit, handling cases from misdemeanors to serious felonies. He led twelve jury trials and worked closely with law enforcement, forensic experts, and crime victims across both roles.
William “Jay” Connelly is a Partner in Kelley Kronenberg’s West Palm Beach office, focusing on Intellectual Property law, including patent, trademark, and copyright prosecution and protection. Admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, he brings over 20 years of experience in IP law and litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Jay led his own intellectual property practice, served as Of Counsel, and consulted on trademark strategy. He has prosecuted patent and trademark applications, handled proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and advised clients on brand development and IP portfolio management. Earlier in his career, Jay operated a general practice law firm, handling criminal and civil litigation, including personal injury and general liability matters.
Alexandra Gubista is an attorney in Kelley Kronenberg’s New York office, where she focuses her practice on General Liability matters, including construction accidents, premises liability, automobile liability, and New York Labor Law. She brings a solid background in personal injury litigation and case management to her defense-oriented practice.
Before joining the firm, Alexandra was an associate attorney at a White Plains law firm, representing clients in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. She handled case strategy, legal filings, and communications with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers. Earlier in her career, she worked as a legal assistant supporting litigation, real estate closings, and municipal matters, including representing Nassau County in small claims assessment review proceedings.
