Fort Lauderdale, FL – November 3, 2025 – Kelley Kronenberg proudly announces that Partner/Business Unit Leader Danielle Cohen Higgins was honored with the Thelma Gibson Award by the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Miami-Dade County (WCC).
The recognition was presented during the 2025 WCC Fundraising Gala & Thelma Gibson Awards, themed “Celebrating Women in Business and The Thelma Gibson Legacy,” which took place on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Level Three Miami.
Established in 1999, the Thelma Gibson Award honors the Chamber’s founder and celebrates individuals who exemplify excellence in leadership, community service, and the advancement of women in business. Each year, the award recognizes leaders who have made a significant impact in promoting professional growth and leadership among women across South Florida.
A respected attorney and community leader, Danielle focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and serves as a member of the firm’s Business Legal Team. She brings nearly two decades of business law and litigation experience, along with unique insights gained from her role as an elected official. In addition to her work at Kelley Kronenberg, she currently serves as a Miami-Dade County Commissioner, representing District 8 and a constituency of nearly three hundred thousand residents.
The Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Miami-Dade County’s annual Fundraising Gala brings together business leaders, community advocates, and entrepreneurs for an evening of celebration, camaraderie, and philanthropy.
