Kelley Kronenberg Welcomes Kelly Lynn Ferron As Partner And Business Unit Leader, Expanding General Liability Practice To Illinois

[CHICAGO, IL] Kelley Kronenberg, a full-service law firm, announces the addition of Kelly Lynn Ferron as Partner and Business Unit Leader. This strategic hire expands the firm’s General Liability Division into Illinois and Wisconsin, broadening Kelley Kronenberg’s ability to assist clients where they need service most. Kelly will focus her practice on focuses her practice on all aspects of general liability and civil litigation defense, including products liability, construction accident, fire and explosion, intentional torts, premises liability, trucking and commercial transportation, negligent security, and automobile liability defense. She is also a part of the firm’s Rapid Response Team.  Kelly’s clients trust her counsel in cases far beyond Illinois as she is also admitted and consistently practices in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Florida.

Kelly brings over fifteen years of litigation experience to the firm. Throughout her career, she has successfully represented numerous Fortune 500 companies, as well as construction, manufacturing, and trucking companies in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. Her expertise extends to negligent construction and design claims, industrial jobsite accidents, traffic control cases, and a wide range of general civil litigation matters. 

Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Kelly served as a Partner at two Chicago-based firms, where she handled high-exposure cases involving wrongful death and catastrophic injuries. Her background also includes experience with products liability, maritime law, nursing home negligence, and commercial matters.  In addition, Kelly possesses the unique skills to enable her to take on high stakes “parachute” cases, for which she swiftly assesses and formulates optimal defense themes, leads all aspects of trial preparation, and implements sound and effective trial strategies in close proximity to trial 

Kelly began her legal career at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office before transitioning to civil litigation defense. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and received her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
