Orlando, FL — Kelley Kronenberg, a national full-service law firm, announced that Shannon M. Cook has joined the firm’s Orlando office as an attorney. As a member of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Department, Ms. Cook focuses her practice exclusively on Workers’ Compensation matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Cook worked as an associate attorney at a personal injury law firm in Orlando. Her background also includes serving as a Federal Judicial Intern for the Hon. Thomas B. McCoun, III in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the Hon. Catherine Peek McEwen in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida. Additionally, she worked as a legal assistant in a Workers’ Compensation law firm and a Foreclosure Defense law firm during law school.
Ms. Cook earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Florida State University and went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law. While attending law school, she served as the President of the Bankruptcy Society and was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. Among her many law school accomplishments, she was honored with the Book Award in Florida Constitutional Law and received the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association Alexander L. Paskay Scholarship as well as the Jack M. Eckerd Scholarship.
