Heath Eskalyo serves as both a Principal Partner and the Chief Financial Officer for the firm. He has been instrumental in the firm’s growth from a statewide practice to a firm with a national presence. Heath plays a major role in the firm’s business development efforts and the continued expansion of the firm’s practice areas and services.
A Civil Trial Litigator, Heath works in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and focuses his practice on Workers’ Compensation, OSHA, Defense Base Act claims, Insurance Fraud, Civil Liability, Construction Law and Occupational Accident and Truckers Occupational Insurance claims.
Heath is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, which indicates a demonstration of the highest professional and ethical standards and is the highest rating a lawyer can receive. He has been recognized as a 2014 – 2016 Top Lawyer by the South Florida Legal Guide and was selected as a Lifestyle Media Group “Leaders in Law” 2014 Finalist in the Litigation / Civil Trial category.
Heath is a Florida Certified Educator and frequently speaks to managers, claims examiners, attorneys, employers and judges on various aspects of OSHA, Defense Base Act and other Civil Liability matters at local and national trade and educational seminars. He is a member of the Construction Association of South Florida and serves as the organizations Legal Advisor. Additionally, he is a member of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), and serves as Regional Chair.
Heath directs the firm’s philanthropic efforts and oversees involvement in community events and fundraisers. He is an advocate for The Children’s Tumor foundation and serves on the Board of Directors for The Victory Center, a nonprofit organization that provides education and services for children and families affected by autism, developmental or behavioral challenges. Heath founded Tri Sharks, Inc., a non profit organization comprised of dedicated group of triathletes who are senior level professionals that are committed to professional growth, business development, networking and philanthropy. Additionally, Heath co-founded Team Victory, a 501c3 non-profit team that selects noteworthy charities and participates in triathlons to raise money and awareness on their behalf.
