Kelley Kronenberg to Sponsor the 11th Annual Kids in Distress Hero 5k Run/Walk

Kelley Kronenberg will proudly serve as a sponsor of this year’s Kids in Distress (KID) Hero 5k Run/Walk.  The event takes place Saturday, May 30 beginning at Huizenga Plaza and weaving through scenic and historic sections of downtown Fort Lauderdale.  All of the funds raised by the event will directly support the community-based programs at KID.

Kids In Distress of Broward and Palm Beach counties is a licensed nationally accredited agency working for the prevention of child abuse, preservation of the family, and the care and treatment of abused and neglected children. KID services helped more than 11,000 children and families last year through signature programs such as KID Prevention, Foster Care, Preschool, Family Counseling Clinic, and more.  The organization is constantly growing and learning to better meet the needs of the South Florida community: for example opening the KID Dental Health Center and NSU’s Eye Care Institute at KID in 2011, launching HEART in 2012, and establishing the KID Family Foster Homes in 2013.
