Carl Figueroa is a Partner at Kelley Kronenberg, focusing his practice on the defense of third-party insurance and general liability matters, with particular emphasis on products liability and complex commercial litigation. He brings over twenty-five years of litigation experience representing carriers and self-insured corporate clients through trial in diverse areas of law involving large, complex, high-profile cases. His comprehensive experience in products liability, toxic tort, construction defect, and insurance coverage matters, combined with his background in complex commercial litigation, provides him with exceptional capabilities in handling high-stakes defense matters.
Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Carl served as a litigation and trial attorney at multiple law firms, where he defended carriers and self-insured corporate clients through trial involving all areas of general liability, including premises liability, New York Labor Law and construction liability, motor vehicle liability, and products liability. His extensive experience includes prosecuting and defending environmental and toxic tort claims including asbestos and talcum powder litigation in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, serving as national coordinating counsel for toxic tort matters pending throughout the country, and providing coverage analysis opinions and case status evaluations. He worked as coverage counsel and litigation consultant for major insurance companies, where he managed litigation of several hundred claims and provided legal counsel to senior corporate executives. Carl has represented major corporate clients in state and federal courts at trials, mediations, and arbitrations regarding contractual disputes and large revenue collection actions. He has appeared at trials, appellate court, arbitrations, and mediations, briefed and argued motions and appellate matters, and conducted numerous depositions.
