Director of Accounts Payable
Aaron Mir serves as the Director of Accounts Payable at Kelley Kronenberg, where he manages the firm’s full-cycle accounts payable operations. He is responsible for reviewing and verifying invoices, processing payments, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. His role includes optimizing payment workflows, implementing process improvements, and maintaining high standards of financial integrity.
His 20-year career in corporate accounting demonstrates progressive advancement through the profession. Beginning in 2002 as a Junior Accountant, he managed fundamental accounting functions including transaction entries, bank reconciliations, and financial record maintenance. As Staff Accountant from 2008 to 2013, he expanded his responsibilities to include month-end closings, budget analysis, and fixed asset management. In his role as Senior Accountant from 2013 to 2020, he managed complete month-end and year-end close processes, prepared financial statements, and coordinated with external auditors to ensure compliance with GAAP standards. Most recently as AP/Shared Services Manager, he directed comprehensive accounts payable operations, implemented automated systems to reduce manual errors, and established new policies for enhanced operational efficiency.
Mir earned his Associate degree in Accounting from Miami-Dade College, demonstrating his commitment to formal education while advancing his professional career.
He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1998 to 2002, where he managed logistics and administrative functions, supervised personnel, and maintained financial and inventory records. His military service developed his expertise in strategic planning and resource management.
