Josh Smallwood is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, focusing his practice on the defense of general liability and third-party insurance defense matters, with a focus on premises liability, trucking and commercial transportation, and negligent security.
Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Josh worked as an associate litigation attorney at multiple firms handling general liability defense matters. His experience includes assisting in trying multiple civil cases, including one complete defense verdict, conducting depositions and settlement negotiations, reviewing and analyzing evidence including medical records and construction documents, preparing motions and discovery, and assisting in trial preparation. His background also includes serving as Revenue Operations Manager at a home services franchisor, where he managed revenue operations and served as the liaison between the finance and legal teams.
Josh earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance, summa cum laude, in 2017. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law, where he was a member of the Negotiation Team for the Business Law Society.
