Michelle Genao is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, where she focuses her practice on first-party property insurance defense. She brings a diverse legal background and a strong commitment to client advocacy to her role.
Prior to joining the firm, Michelle garnered experience across multiple areas of law, including Elder Law, Estate Planning, Employment and Disability Law. In these roles, she managed high-volume caseloads from pre-suit through litigation and consistently secured favorable outcomes for her clients. Her legal training also includes externships with the National Labor Relations Board and the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court, providing her with a strong foundation in both administrative and judicial processes. Michelle is also passionate about community service and advocacy. She has dedicated significant time to supporting disadvantaged populations through both legal and volunteer work.
Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, in International Trade and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she also completed minors in Ethics and Sustainability and Latin American Studies. Michelle went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, where she received a Certificate of Concentration in Social Justice Advocacy and was honored with the William F. Blews Award for Pro Bono Service.
