Shaye Schnier is a Partner at Kelley Kronenberg in the Workers’ Compensation Division. She focuses her practice on workers’ compensation matters, guiding clients through the claims process from inception through resolution.
Shaye began her career in personal injury, managing a large inventory of auto accident, premises liability, and products liability matters from pre-suit through resolution while leading teams of case managers and legal assistants. She then turned to workers’ compensation defense, where she handled a substantial litigated caseload, evaluating exposure, developing defense strategy, and arguing motions and final hearings before judges of compensation claims. Her success in that role led to her advancement into a leadership position within the practice.
More recently, her practice has included representing injured employees in all phases of workers’ compensation claims, from initial consultation through settlement or trial, and securing wage loss, medical, and permanent disability benefits on their behalf. Having advocated for injured employees, she brings valuable insight into the claimant’s perspective, which informs her strategy and strengthens her defense of employers and carriers.
Shaye earned her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, magna cum laude, from the University of Central Florida. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
