Chamoya Cameron is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, focusing her practice on general liability defense.
Chamoya has experience in insurance defense, with a background handling third-party bodily injury cases from initial phase reports through settlement or trial preparation. Her experience includes drafting motions to dismiss, summary judgments, Daubert motions, and other legal documents, as well as preparing and responding to discovery requests. She also has in-house litigation experience working with in-house counsel, where she drafted arbitration responses, revised contract clauses, and conducted research in multiple legal areas. Chamoya also gained invaluable experience as an extern to the General Counsel for the Alachua County Clerk of Court and as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Brian Davis of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Chamoya earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Florida, graduating summa cum laude. She later received her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she was awarded the Governor’s Scholarship. During law school, she served as an editor of the Journal of Technology, Law & Policy and Vice President of the Caribbean Law Student Association.
