Emma S. Meyerson is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg where she assists in handling matters related to Insurance Defense Litigation, General Liability, First Party Property, Commercial Litigation, and Criminal Defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Emma worked as an Attorney for a small Insurance Defense Litigation Firm, wherein she gained experience in defending claims involving personal injury protection benefits, drafting coverage opinions for automobile insurance carriers, and defending rental car claims as the rental cars are required to carry insurance for purposes of PIP. Due to the requirement to have PIP on their rental vehicles, the rental car companies are self-insured. During her experience with PIP, Emma also conducted a number of Examinations Under Oath on behalf of Automobile Insurers faced with claims for PIP benefits to determine if the Named Insured made a Material Misrepresentation on their application for automobile insurance in exchange for a lower insurance premium. Emma also has experience working on bodily injury pre-suit claims and negotiating on behalf of insurance carriers.
Emma earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Radio/Television from the University of Central Florida. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
Emma is conversational in Spanish.
