Overview

Judy Pippin is a Partner at Kelley Kronenberg, concentrating her practice on the defense of workers’ compensation claims throughout the state of Indiana. She has a rich history of defending employers in worker’s compensation matters including comprehensive initial evaluations, mediations and litigation before the Indiana Worker’s Compensation Board. 

With over two decades of experience, Judy offers a wealth of knowledge in various practice areas. Apart from her experience in worker’s compensation, she also boasts a strong background in first and third party insurance defense litigation and employment law. 

Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Judy served as Deputy Attorney General where she provided legal counsel to various state boards and agencies including the Workers’ Compensation Board’s second injury fund.  Judy has also worked as in house counsel in the insurance industry, where she handled complex litigation cases along with coverage disputes. 

In parallel to her attorney roles, she is an experienced educator, serving on the faculty at Marian University since 2014. She teaches various subjects, including civil litigation/mock trials, legal writing, and business law. 

Judy obtained her Bachelor of Science from Ball State University where she received the Gordon Jordan Scholarship and was recognized for her academic achievements on the Dean’s List. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Indiana University McKinney School of Law and attended a semester of law school in Shanghai, China as part of the international studies program. While in law school, Judy became the Associate Articles Editor of the Indiana International and Comparative Law Review
