Tree-Planting Ceremony at NOVA Southeastern University

On Friday, April 19, 2013, Environmental Attorney Melissa O’Connor participated in a Tree-Planting Ceremony at NOVA Southeastern University in Davie where she teaches Environmental Law & Policy.  The event was sponsored by the Student Chapter of the National Association of Environmental Professionals

A magnolia tree was planted at Gold Circle Lake.  Melissa attended as representative of the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals and its South Florida Chapter.  The Student Chapter along with the NOVA Southeastern University administration seek to become a Tree Campus USA certified university as a way to become more sustainable.Melissa_Tree_Planting_1
