Prior to working as an Attorney, Christy worked as a Law Clerk with Kelley Kronenberg, where she gained experience in first-party property insurance defense by conducting legal research, drafting case reports, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and proposals for settlement.     

Christy graduated, magna cum laude, from the University of Central Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a minor in Cognitive Science. She was a member of the National Leadership Honor Society and the International Legal Honor Society of Phi Delta Phi during her academic journey. Christy’s academic excellence was recognized with a prestigious full-tuition scholarship to Florida State University College of Law. 

Christy received her Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University College of Law where she served as an Elections Commission Judge for the Student Government Association, was a member of the Student Bar Association’s Philanthropy Committee, and competed as a member of the Trial Team. Christy worked as a Teaching Assistant under the guidance of Professor Fred Karlinsky for the Law & Risk Management course. Additionally, she was recognized for Distinguished Pro Bono Service upon graduation.   

During her time in law school, Christy served as a legal intern for the Chief Legal Counsel at The Florida Department of Health MQA Prosecution Services Unit. In this role, she conducted interviews with experts in intricate cases and was responsible for drafting administrative complaints. 

Christy is fluent in Spanish and conversational in French.
