Dakota I. Alvarez is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, where she assists in handling matters related to first-party property insurance defense. 

Prior to working as an Attorney, Dakota worked as a Law Clerk with Kelley Kronenberg, where she gained experience in first-party property by conducting legal research, drafting case reports, pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and proposals for settlement.     

Dakota graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and International Affairs, where she was a member in the Women in Pre-Law Society and Kappa Alpha Theta Womens’ fraternity. 

Dakota went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law, where she graduated cum laude. During her academic tenure, she served as President of the NSU Immigration Law Organization, Senior and Junior Associate of the Nova Law Review, and Secretary of the Public Interest Law Society. Additionally, Dakota was a member of NSU’s Moot Court Society and represented the university in the Hispanic National Bar Association’s 28th Annual Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court Competition.
