Overview

Kathryn E. Thomson is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, where she assists in handling matters related to first-party property insurance defense.  

 Before joining Kelley Kronenberg, Kathryn spent two years representing insurance companies in first-party property, personal injury protection, and general liability defense matters. She also attained extensive experience handling commercial litigation cases while practicing law in the state of Georgia. 

Kathryn received her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Salisbury University in Political Science. While pursuing her degree, she served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Daniel M. Long (Ret.) of the Circuit Court of Somerset County, Maryland, and as an Intern for the Maryland Senate Minority Leader. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law. While in law school, Kathryn received accolades for her academic excellence; she earned a spot on the Dean’s List twice and was awarded the CALI Book Award in recognition of achieving the highest score in her Business Associations course.
