Overview

Laura A. Worden is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, focusing her practice on probate litigation, estate planning, and guardianship 

Before joining Kelley Kronenberg, she worked as a Staff Attorney for the 17th Circuit Court, Probate Division, where she was responsible for creating orders following evidentiary hearings, conducting legal research on probate and guardianship concerns, assessing pending Proposed Orders for Division 60J and other divisions as needed, preparing orders for pro se litigants, and evaluating hundreds of cases weekly.  She also served as a Judicial Assistant for the Honorable Charles M. Greene.  

Laura graduated from the University of New Mexico summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish and a minor in Economics and Interdisciplinary Studies. During her time there, she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and was named a National Hispanic Merit Scholar for academic achievement. She also had the honor of being the Founding President of the UNM Mock Trial Team and received Five Outstanding Attorney Awards and All-Region Attorney Awards.  

Laura achieved her Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary School of Law. While in law school, she was involved in the William & Mary Journal of Women and the Law and the National Trial Team, where she won multiple Best Advocate awards and competed at Baylor Law’s Top Gun Competition. Additionally, she served as a Graduate Research Assistant and the William & Mary Undergraduate Mock Trial Coach.  

Laura is conversational in Spanish.
