Kelley Kronenberg Partner Louis Reinstein, has been appointed Chair of the Florida Bar’s Grievance Committee 17A. Louis was chosen to serve on the committee in August 2020 for a three year term.
The grievance committee reviews complaints with much the same purpose as a grand jury. That is, the committee decides, after a case is submitted to them by Florida Bar counsel, whether there is probable cause to believe a lawyer violated the professional conduct rules imposed by the Supreme Court of Florida and whether discipline against the lawyer appears to be warranted.
Louis’ general litigation practice includes trial and appellate work in all of Florida’s state and federal courts. He represents individuals, small businesses, large corporations, and municipalities. His general litigation practice includes plaintiff and defense work from intake all the way through trial and appeal. His primary area of focus is in defending municipal litigation, correctional healthcare, and police professional litigation. He also handles commercial litigation and premises liability claims. Louis enjoys working closely with his clients, whether individuals or corporations, to make sure that each receives the attention they need and the communication they want. As a certified Florida Supreme Court County Court Mediator Louis also works to resolve disputes as a neutral mediator throughout the State of Florida.
