Kelley Kronenberg is proud to support Presidential Inaugural Committee National Day of Service Creating Healthcare Bags for the Homeless

Kelley Kronenberg is proud to support the Presidential Inaugural Committee National Day of Service, Creating Healthcare Bags for the Homeless.

Kelley Kronenberg Partner, Louis Reinstein organized and led this initiative. Some of the items that were collected include healthcare products such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, tissues, and other products for the homeless and those in an unstable financial situation in the community. Donation items were provided to Showering Love, RAK PAK and HOPE South Florida.

Showering Love is a 501c3 Non-profit that provides via Grace (more about her later), mobile showers, new undergarments, socks, and hygiene travel kits and other supportive services for people who are housing insecure (“Guests”). “Grace,” as she is affectionately known, is a 44 foot former Miami City Bus that has been converted into a completely self-contained mobile shower transformative platform equipped with 2 private showers (1 of which is ADA compliant) restroom facilities.

RAK PAK, Random Acts of Kindness, is a clothing pantry providing women of limited income and their children with free clothing in a friendly, safe and confidential environment. The RAK PAK offers them the opportunity to select from a wide variety of fashionable clothing, helping build their self-respect and self-esteem. The RAK PAK came under the auspices of Goodman JFS in order to expand its reach to those in need in the community.

HOPE South Florida works collectively with over 45 local churches to provide a holistic response to homelessness. Services include crisis housing, shared meals, mobile showers, transportation and clothing, employment assistance, family support teams and a rapid re-housing program.
