Angelo Filippi reapppointed by the County Commission to the Broward County Human Rights Board.

Angelo Filippi, Employment Law Partner in our Fort Lauderdale office, was reappointed by the Broward County Board of County Commissioners to serve on the Human Rights Board.

The purpose of the Board is to “encourage equality of treatment and prevent discrimination against any racial, religious, ethnic, or other majority group or its members.” The Human Rights board exercises general, advisory and quasi-judicial powers and receives, initiates and investigates complaints alleging any discriminatory practice.
