Kelley Kronenberg Adds Family Law and Criminal Defense Practice Areas to Growing List of Firm Services

Veteran attorneys Adam Swickle and Dana Rosenhaus Swickle hired to spearhead new division

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – The law firm Kelley, Kronenberg, Gilmartin, Fichtel, Wander, Bamdas, Eskalyo and Dunbrack, P.A., announced the addition of Family Law and Criminal Defense to the firm’s expanding list of legal services. Attorneys Adam Swickle, Dana Rosenhaus Swickle and Joe Costello were brought on to lead the new departments, bringing with them 30 years of family and criminal law experience.

The newly established Family Law practice focuses on representation in family and matrimonial matters that consist of the negotiation and drafting of prenuptial agreements, post nuptial agreements, dissolution of marriage actions, time sharing disputes, paternity, and child support matters. Attorneys in this department are also skilled in representing clients who need guidance subsequent to the entry of a Final Judgment due to changes in circumstances, as well as Guardian Ad Litem matters as they relate to family law.

The Criminal Law practice encompasses the representation of individuals who have been arrested or charged with a violation of a criminal statute in either state court or federal court. This includes representation from the inception of the matter, pre filing negotiations, bond hearings, departure hearings, motion hearings, plea negotiations, defense and trial preparation and trying the case before a jury. Attorneys leading this division have represented clients charged with 3rd degree misdemeanors to first degree felony matters. They have also maintain their Federal licenses, which allows the representation of clients being charged with a Federal offense.

Heading these new departments is attorney Adam Swickle, who joins the firm as a Partner. Swickle concentrates his practice on criminal law, family law, paternity actions, divorces, and commercial litigation. He has represented more than 100 professional athletes in family, criminal and commercial litigation matters. Swickle has been published numerous times on family law issues and appeared on countless radio shows and print media discussing his work with professional athletes. He is admitted to the Southern District Court of Florida and the Florida Supreme Court, and is a member of the Broward County Bar Association. He received his law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center.

Dana Rosenhaus Swickle joins as an associate and focuses on family law matters, including the drafting of prenuptial and post nuptial agreements, dissolution of marriage, paternity, dependency, child support, and relocation matters. Her background also includes serving as a Guardian Ad Litem to aide and assist the court in the representation of minor children’s best interests in disputed timesharing matters. She also interned at the Miami‐Dade Guardian Ad Litem office. Upon her graduation from law school, she was immediately hired by the Broward County Public Defender’s Office and placed in a felony division where she represented clients who were charged with third and second degree felonies. She received her law degree from St. Thomas Law School.

Attorney Joe Costello also joins the firm as an associate, handling family law matters. He is also experienced in criminal defense, domestic violence and civil litigation traffic issues. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association and performs charity work for the Miami Dolphins. He received his law degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center.
