Hector Ramirez is a Partner at Kelley Kronenberg. He is a seasoned counselor and litigator, handling all matters of civil litigation (emphasis on personal injury) with the enhanced perspective of having represented defendants as well as plaintiffs. Prior to joining the firm, Hector was a partner at prominent and respected law firms in Miami and Fort Lauderdale. He was selected as a Super Lawyer’s Rising Star in 2009 and has a five-star Martindale-Hubbell peer review.
Hector has extensive experience in Federal and Florida State courts and alternative dispute resolution, including binding arbitration with the American Association of Arbitration. He is experienced in multiple practice areas and has successfully represented clients in insurance defense, premises liability, wrongful death, personal injuries, property damage, subrogation, maritime torts, maritime contracts, commercial litigation, Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices, Fair Labor Standards Act and wage claims, Americans with Disabilities Act Title III claims, Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
Hector has represented domestic insurers, protection and indemnity associations, domestic and international corporations, major cruise and shipping lines, lending institutions, hotels, and individuals with significant interests. He has traveled the world for his clients investigating claims and conducting necessary phases of litigating cases.
Hector has and continues to handle a diverse caseload representing individual, corporate and institutional clients. His broad experience includes direct and extensive interaction and consulting with corporate clients and insurers regarding risk management/loss prevention, claims handling, litigation matters, and general business transactions.
