Overview

Julien Maynard is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, where he concentrates his practice on matters relating to general liability, transportation, and gig economy liability 

Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Julien worked as an Attorney, managing high-volume caseloads of construction defect claims. He regularly supported equity and non-equity partners by providing strategic defensive counsel on multiple cases; from their inception through state or federal litigation to trial or final hearing. Julien also has experience with employment law.  

Julien graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology. While at Duke, he served as the Vice President of the Black Student Alliance, Co-Director of the Africana Mentoring Program, and Member At-Large of the President’s Council on Black Affairs.   

Later, Julien earned his Juris Doctor degree from Florida A&M University College of Law, cum laude. During his time there, he was actively engaged in various activities. Julien held multiple leadership positions, which included President of the Student Bar Association and Chapter President of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He also served as a member of the Student Advisory Council to the Dean of Students, worked as a Title IX Advisor and Counselor, and was a member of the Black Law Student Association. Julien researched for Professor Jeffery Brown and earned multiple Book Awards.  

Julien remains connected to the legal community by supporting the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association and Orange County Bar Association.
