Robert Friedman is a Partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, focusing his practice on Workers’ Compensation and Subrogation. Robert also has experience in the areas of civil litigation, including nursing home defense.
Robert is a Trustee Member of the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce, where he sits on both the Board of Directors and Executive Board, holding the position of Vice-Chair – Legal Counsel. Robert was integral in the integration of the Coconut Creek and Coral Springs Chambers. He enjoys his leadership position with the Chamber and values his relationship with the business community.
Robert believes in the importance of giving back to the community, serving as a mentor for a high school student through an organization called Take Stock in Children. With his family, he helps volunteer with Parkland Buddy Sports, an organization that provides organized sports opportunities to the special needs community.
Robert authored an article published in the South Florida Hospital News and Healthcare Report regarding fraud in the workers’ compensation system. An avid educator, Robert frequently conducts seminars for the firm’s clients regarding fraud, subrogation, and case law updates.
Robert received his undergraduate degree in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, College Park where he was a member of the Student Judiciary, serving as both Executive Council member and Presiding Officer. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law where he served as President and member of the Mock Trial Team.
