Rusudan Tchitashvili is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, where she handles matters related to general liability and third-party insurance defense, with a focus on New York Labor Law.
Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Rusudan served as an associate attorney at a New York law firm, where she represented clients in family law and civil litigation in state and federal courts. Her earlier experience includes serving as corporate counsel and head of the legal department for an international company, where she managed commercial transactions and corporate compliance. She began her legal career in her home country of Georgia, developing a diverse practice encompassing human rights, criminal, family, and corporate law while managing complex cases and supervising legal teams.
Rusudan earned her Bachelor of Laws from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, graduating with highest honors. She then completed her Master of Laws at the same institution, where she served as a research assistant and published her master’s thesis on mediation and arbitration in a bilingual journal of alternative dispute resolution. She pursued doctoral studies at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and continued her research as an Erasmus Mundus Scholar at Humboldt University of Berlin. In the United States, she went on to earn her second Master of Laws from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, where she served as Staff Editor for the Cardozo International and Comparative Law Review and received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship.
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a commitment to public service through her pro bono work with Georgia’s leading pro bono service provider, where she focused on complex human rights violation cases.
Rusudan is fluent in Georgian.
