Four Principals at Kelley Kronenberg Earn New Executive Titles in Midst of Business Law Firm’s Expansion

Fort Lauderdale, FL – The business law firm of Kelley Kronenberg has announced new executive leadership positions for its four principal partners.

Michael Fichtel

Michael Fichtel has been named CEO, but will also retain his title of firm-wide managing partner. He is responsible for shaping and executing the firm’s strategic growth plan.  In addition to his management duties, Fichtel is a veteran litigator focusing on insurance defense matters.  He is based out of the Fort Lauderdale office.

Howard Wander

Howard Wander has been named Kelley Kronenberg’s Chief Operating Officer.  He is responsible for business development at the firm and also provides consultation on its strategic growth plan.  Wander also maintains a full caseload, focusing his practice on defending employers, third-party administrators and insurance carriers in Civil Litigation matters.  He is based out of the West Palm Beach office.

Heath Eskalyo

Heath Eskalyo has been named Chief Financial Officer.  He is responsible for business development and oversees client relations.  Eskalyo is a civil litigator who focuses his practice on Workers’ Compensation, OSHA, Defense Base Act claims, Insurance Fraud, Civil Liability and Construction Law.  Eskalyo is based out of the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office.

Karen Gilmartin

Karen Gilmartin has been named Chief Legal Officer. She is responsible for the firm’s legal compliance as it relates to all client matters.  In her law practice, Gilmartin defends employers, carriers and self-insureds in Civil Litigation and Workers’ Compensation matters.  She is based in Miami.

All four partners are credited with transforming Kelley Kronenberg from a boutique firm that concentrated primarily on Workers’ Compensation defense litigation, to a full-service law firm with 12 offices.  With nearly 100 attorneys nationwide, the firm provides a variety of legal services catered toward the business community.
