Kelley Kronenberg named one of South Florida’s “Top Law Firms”; Eight Partners also named in the 2015 South Florida Legal Guide

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. – Kelley Kronenberg, a nationwide full-service law firm, was selected by the South Florida Legal Guide as a “Top Law Firm” in the publication’s 2015 edition. Principal Partners Michael J. Fichtel, Howard L. Wander, Heath S. Eskalyo and Karen M. Gilmartin, along with firm Partners Steven H. Osber and Harold S. Stevens were listed as “Top Lawyers” in their respective areas of practice. Amy B. Siegel and Eric J. Stockel were also recognized as “Top Up & Comers”.

Michael J. Fichtel

Michael J. Fichtel serves as firm wide Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer, and has been instrumental in the firm’s growth from a statewide practice to a national presence. He practices in the area of insurance defense with a focus on Workers’ Compensation claims for Fortune 500 companies. He was listed in the Workers’ Compensation Defense category.

Howard L. Wander

Howard L. Wander serves as Principal Partner, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner of the firm’s West Palm Beach office. He has been directly involved in the firm’s strategic consultation and growth into a statewide Florida practice as well national presence with offices in Chicago and Houston. He maintains an active Insurance Defense Litigation and trial caseload, focusing on the representation of employers, third-party administrators and insurance carriers.  He also oversees the Property and Casualty Department of the firm and handles property and casualty matters.  He was listed in the Workers’ Compensation category.

Heath S. Eskalyo

Heath S. Eskalyo is a Principal Partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. A Civil Trial Litigator, he focuses his practice on OSHA, Defense Base Act claims, Insurance Fraud, Civil Liability and Construction law. Mr. Eskalyo has also been a driving force in the growth of the firm and oversees its philanthropic efforts.  He was listed in the Workers’ Compensation Defense category.

Karen M. Gilmartin

Karen M. Gilmartin is a Principal Partner, Chief Legal Officer and leads the firm’s Miami Lakes office. She focuses her practice on the defense of employers, carriers and self-insureds in the field of Workers’ Compensation and Subrogation. She’s practiced in this area for 28 years. Earlier this year, she was inducted into the Workers’ Compensation Hall of Fame, a select group of industry professionals who have had a substantial impact in the field of Workers’ Compensation. Additionally, Mrs. Gilmartin is certified by the state of Florida to provide continuing education courses for insurance carriers and regularly presents seminars on a wide variety of general legal matters. She was listed in the Workers’ Compensation Defense category.

Steven H. Osber

Steven H. Osber is a partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and chairs the Commercial Litigation Group. He focuses on complex and general commercial and business litigation, including partnership/shareholder disputes, commercial eviction matters, real estate litigation, and construction litigation. He was listed in the Corporate and Business Litigation category.

Harold S. Stevens

Harold S. Stevens is also a partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. Amy B. Siegel
