Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Carla served as a law clerk where her responsibilities encompassed a wide range of tasks aimed at supporting the team. She researched and analyzed complex legal issues across various domestic and international cases.   

Carla pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Relations at Florida International University. She later earned her Juris Doctor degree from Florida International University College of Law, graduating with honors on the Dean’s List. Carla’s exceptional abilities and passion for law were recognized throughout her studies, propelling her to take on numerous leadership positions and engage in various extracurricular activities. 

Carla’s commitment to the field of law is evidenced by her involvement in prestigious competitions such as Vis Moot and Moot Madrid. These international moot court competitions allowed her to develop her advocacy skills further and gain invaluable practical experience. Additionally, she held significant positions within organizations such as the International Dispute Resolution Club, International Law Student Association, and Business Law Society, where she served as Treasurer and Vice President of Recruitment. Carla was also the Deputy Editor-in-Chief for the World Arbitration and Mediation Review, an international legal journal.  

Carla’s linguistic abilities are another asset to her legal practice. In addition to being proficient in Spanish, she is at a beginner level in speaking Portuguese, enabling her to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients and navigate cross-cultural legal matters.
