Joseph Nagy is a Partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, focusing his practice on all aspects of liability and casualty defense.
Joseph represents a variety of clients throughout the state of Florida in general liability matters including wrongful death, trucking and transportation liability, premises liability, products liability, liquor liability, automobile negligence, negligent security, construction defect litigation, admiralty and general insurance defense. Related to premises liability cases, he has defended hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, condominiums, retail stores and individuals in slip and falls, trip and falls and negligent maintenance. Joseph has handled cases in all aspects of general liability which have involved injuries from death claims to all types of non-surgical and surgical cases including paraplegic and quadriplegic injuries.
Prior to joining the firm, Joseph has more than 13 years of experience defending and litigating general liability claims for the insured’s of various insurance companies and self-insured entities. Prior to focusing his practice to defending and litigating general liability claims, Joseph worked as an Assistant Public Defender in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court from 1999-2003.
